Life is a lot
like a line graph. We all have our ups & downs. This week's Dumb Answer
isn't so much a story of a dumb answer as it is a story of really bad
luck.
Say hello to Margaret. She won her way on stage at the last possible
moment and has a chance to win...
A NEW CAR!
We'll be tracking her Price Experience Index throughout the course of
this article.
So, to win a new 2011 Honda Civic LX Coupe she has to play...
Ah yes, Gas Money.
If you haven't watched the show in awhile, Gas Money is essentially a
quasi-Deal or No Deal game where you're given 5 prices that may be the
price of the car. You must pick the prices that ARE NOT the actual
retail price (ARP) of the car. Behind each car price that isn't the ARP
of the car, you get "gas money" ranging from $1,000-$4,000. So, if you
play your cards right you can win the car and $10,000.
There are your prices.
Margaret opts to eliminate $17,555.

That hurts. But, remember she still gets to spin the big wheel.
Since the 2 previous contestants in her half of the show won their
pricing games, Margaret spins the wheel first and lands on...

Way to bounce back, Margaret! She's in a great spot to get to the
showcase. After all, the odds of someone getting $1.00 in one or a
combination of two spins when the first person gets .95 are so minuscule
